Event information

No description

Attend EUROPIC 2026, a global virology conference that focuses on studies of picornaviruses. Picornaviruses are a family of small RNA viruses that infect humans and other vertebrates, including well-known members like poliovirus, rhinovirus, and coxsackievirus. These viruses, characterized by their non-enveloped capsid and positive-sense, single-stranded RNA genome, replicate in the host cell cytoplasm. Picornaviruses can cause a spectrum of diseases, from mild respiratory or gastrointestinal issues to more severe conditions, and efforts such as vaccination have been made to control their impact on public health.

The programme will include plenary talks from international experts and poster sessions.
